Okay /g/,I need yo' help.
Should I install Windows 10? Or not? I've heard good and bad opinions about it from /g/.

If i were you id keep god-tier win7 as long as possible. Eventually the time for forced upgrading arrives so enjoy while you can. Theres nothing cool on win10 baka trust me
>>51521980
This. Windows 10 is just Windows 8, Ubuntu/Mac os and chrome OS rolled into one. Unless you are a fan of muh cloud keep using Windows 7
>>51521880
Fucking no.
I was also thinking of upgrading from windows 7, given that it's free. But I don't like all that shit policies like automatic updates, I think I'll wait a bit.
>>51521880
who cares
>>51521880
Nu, e o tampenie de sistem de operare. Si botnet pe deasupra.

What's the difference between Pro N and Enterprise N?

Like Edge and telemetry?
>>51521880
I agree with all the above. keep your god tier OS as long as you can...
>those specs
Yeah, definitely keep what is running well on your computer for now because with your specs, you will end up buying a new comp when it is time to upgrade.
Also...
>install mint
>>51521880
botnet shit aside, I didn't care for it and it actually ran slower on my laptop then seven did
>>51524443
I'm not sure about Telemetry.
I installed a hostlist, ShutUp10 and Spybot anti-beacon which block telemetry.
>>51524525
>install mint
I have Xubuntu 15.04 installed along with 7.
>Yeah, definitely keep what is running well on your computer for now because with your specs, you will end up buying a new comp when it is time to upgrade.
I still have a dual core (Sandy Bridge Celeron core iirc) laptop with a cracked screen (Acer Aspire 5349) and a 250GB SATA HDD in it.
Might try and see if I can ghetto rig up an LCD screen from an old Fujitsu Siemens D7820.
>>51524666
>remove screen
>plug in external monitor
>mount laptop behind monitor
viola you've got an allinone computer right?
>>51524703
>mount laptop behind monitor
I might as well go ahead and make it a flat PC.
Like those old Pentium 133 machines that sat horizontally rather than tower.
>>51524726
yeah, only catch is that it may or may not boot properly if it doesn't detect the built in screen, so you may have to do some soldering for a loopback or something if you're up for that
>>51524752
I think it will.
At least I did that once on a old Pentium 3 laptop that I still have in working condition (Compaq Armada 110) and it worked, booted of the external monitor like nothing was missing.
