What file explorer are you using for Android and why isn't it MK Explorer.
After the ES fiasco, I think I found the GOAT file explorer.
>muh material design

Hey man try it yourself, I was looking for a free and alternative file explorer after the ES shit

So how long until it becomes the next QuickPic?

What ES fiasco
ES was always shit, I don't see why people used it

>implying my phone doesnt have a built in file explorer

Totalcmd you pleb.

ES update injected botnet ads
>>51514492
Doesnt move files from internal to sd card. Gives error no access to file message after following the instructions to select SD card. Selected internal as SD for shits n giggles. Now it crashes every time I try to move a file internally from SD card. Android 5.0.2 on version 2.4.1, pass it on to your polak overlords

Is MK Explorer FOSS?
It looks really similar to Amaze, which is pretty much the GOAT file manager. It's got root explorer, the ability to backup and restore APKs, and is on Fdroid.
All file explorers for Android are shit. I use file manager for moving things around, but it seems to have a problem removing files so I have to do that in a terminal emulator
What app replaces the ES File picker for notifications? That's all I use it for

Whats wrong with ES File Explorer?
>>51514814
WHATS WRONG WITH QUICKPIC?!
oh ya, the ad in my gallery. Man I dont look at photos often
>>51515448
ES File explorer recently added notification ads, to everyone's dismay.
Quickpic got purchased by Cheetah Mobile, a company known for making shitty "speed up your phone" apps that are basically botnets. Every update since their purchase has steadily made the app slightly shitter. Apparently the latest update is constantly phoning home to Chinese IPs and it kills the battery too. Quickpic is still the best if you use the neutered version that doesn't update and is last update to before CM bought it. I think you can find it on XDA.

I may have that, cuz I havent updated either program in a couple of months.
FUCK I liked em both. Ever since my mp3 player broke I've been using ES explorer to get my podcasts from my desktop over the network. I guess as long as it works I'll just stick with this version, but I am disappoint.

Is it just me or have I had.NO issues with ES sending notifications? Sorry but ES functionality will always be superior.

the one true file manager
Stock AOSP file manager. It just werks.
>>51515401
/g/ proved it to be a chinese botnet before
check network traffic, search for strings with your IMEI in it
I use amaze
>>51515668
It's pretty good but for me it lacks WebDAV and samba support. Are there any ES alternatives with decent network functionality (LAN and remote shares)?
>>51514565
Which one? Classic or the latest one?
I use File Commander. Came installed on my Xperia and it works great.

Your own fault.
I use Astro.
Sliding Explorer

>oh no! es is botnet!
>cat my access log looking for my imei

Not saying that /g/ is lying but could it be possible that it was a setting or something that they didn't investigate properly?
FX maanger
Samsung's default find explorer.
