Does /g/ use paper organizers, or do you all just use software? What do you use?

I still carry a paper planner, and I'm looking into getting a new one for the new year. I've been using the upper left, weekly style, but am thinking of using something different.

Post whatever setups you have.
>>
>>51509834
I use my brain+Google cal. And it's fucking retarded 3/10 do not recommend. going to buy a paper planner now.
>>
A single black notebook.

No layouts, you can make your own if needed. but for any appointments i just write down the date/time and reason.

I can also write everything else into it, and draw waifus.

Staples ARC notebook + phone

This notebook is simply awesome
>>
I have two notebooks. One is small Field Notes book and a larger journal from Barnes and Noble. The Field Notes book is the one I always carry around and jot down whatever I need to remember and get. The larger journal I use with the Bullet Journal format for planning tasks and events. It's pretty nice as long as you keep up with writing.

I love my arc notebook
was great for note taking in games
>>
i use a 3x5 dot grid moleskine
>>
I have a skin flap on my thigh where I leave important notes
>>
I have an a5 Chinese filofax rip off with day on one page and vertical week on one a4 page to get a proper view of where my time is being used.
>>
I use a small python script I wrote that "allocates" me on projects like a round robin algorithm would
>>
>>51509834
I use paper organizers (always the same type, one day per page except SA and SU) for a few years now because with them I don't look like a moron taking notes and writing down dates when at work and I like it alot. Also, I don't want half my life in some cloud that I don't control and using a local not-network based e-organizer wouldn't make any sense.
>>
>>51509834
I use Trello + a pocket sized paper notebook.
First taking note on paper, then organizing them in categories in trello.
The process of copying them helps me remind them better.
>>
>>51511788
Oh, almost forgot, and a whiteboard for the top priority stuff.
>>
>>51509834
Google Keep
RTM
Todo.c
and papernotebook

Im happy
>>
>>51510569
i used mine for note taking in classes, now i use it for note taking in meetings and regular work
>>
>look up bullet journal
>pretentious todo system for the self-important EDC faggot
>look at tumblrinas gobbling it up
>they literally treat it like a scrap book and post quotes and color in it with markers so they can show off how how unique they all are

If you have more things to do than can fit on a post-it, you weren't gonna do them anyway.
>>
What brand does /g/ prefer? Just random generic planner, or something fancy like Moleskine?
>>
>>51513965
I've always wanted to get the Hobonichi planner since it uses Tomoe River paper (which is apparently well known for being to handle ink well for it's extremely thin thickness). Their designs for page layouts are gorgeous.

That said, I just use a generic cheapo planner (~$1-$2) with a monthly layout and some areas for notes that I keep in my work bag.

When I was in school, I heavily relied on a generic weekly layout academic planner and Google calendar (which I used with GooCal, which is no longer in the iOS store). Having an online calendar was handy when I need to tell people my availability in social situations when I didn't have access to my planner.

Currently I'm using a Japanese planner from Muji, on the right.

It's tall and narrow, which I prefer to the middle A6-sized one I used to use. Iphone and ruler for scale.

It's a plastic cover, not leather or anything, but it's pretty durable.

Same guy here, just a look inside. I don't carry a wallet anymore, I use the pocket made by the planner cover to keep cash, ID, and random papers I keep.

I use a Midori traveler's notebook with a weekly diary insert for keeping dates and shit. Works well, I can't be assed to check a calendar on my phone or something for some reason.

Probably actually going to grab one of these for the next year, I've been meaning to use one for the longest time.

The back pocket, where I keep my address book and cash. The address book is from an old planner from years ago.

A couple years ago I had a Moleskine planner and I found it to be great, but this address book was too tall to fit in it. I might go back to Moleskine and use a shorter planner.

Also....

Appointments/Meetings: write it down in my pocket book, then create it as an actionable event in <insert calendar app/service here>

Planning/Tasks: Wunderlist + Modified Kanban diagrams [paper, with backlogging and forward- logging between three and five days]. Wunderlist can be substituted for something like Todoist. Honestly this is just preference since I discovered Wunderlist in my first year of University -- pick whatever suits you. A large white board with task segments would do the job or just a book of papers. Bullet Journalling is immensely powerful, but a fucking pain in the ass to keep up with. I don't recommend Bullet Journalling to start.

Currently, I'm just using apple reminders and notes. Looking for something more of course but can't seem to find something that will be reliable for at least a few years.
>>
Trello for to-do things
Evernote for quick and/or long-term notes
Google calendar for appointments and scheduling

This is 100% perfect combination for me. I keep everything organized and done, without having any things on my mind.
>>
>>51509834
I use iCloud calendar, Things and Evernote.
iCal just werks, Things is a nice do-to app but I wish it had horizontal timelines and Evernote is great at keeping notes and ideas organised.
>>
Siri handles all this sort of stuff for me
>>
>>51509997
This too.

I long wasted my time with organizers, until I realized some pages were never used, when some needed to be 10 times bigger.

I've never been more organized since I came up with my own organization instead of being bound to lines on paper.
>>
There is an app called Sunrise Calender that is to die for.
>>
I pretty much just stick to my CRM.
I use HubSpot. Mostly for work but for personal stuff as well.
