how so?
>>
They're both pretty shit (in different ways though)

Nvidia basically have planned software-based obsolescence and are trying to monopolise the market. They're also pretty scummy with various things over the years like Woodscrews, 3.5 and various other shit.

Then there's AMD who release decent hardware, but don't release driver updates frequently enough. Their cards aren't as good at tessellation as nvidia cards are and also tend to produce a lot more heat.

There's also the whole ~power consumption~ thing but I have solar panels so I don't care.

If you're looking to buy a GPU, I'd recommend you support AMD at the current moment in time, as a monopoly wouldn't be too great.

OP here, I do own a AMD Graphic's card.

Theyre both fine.

If you purchase according to memes and politics, instead of purchasing according to budget, benchmarks for games you intend to play and price-performance ratios, you are retarded.

Meh, enough for me. Tomorrow is going to be the third driver release of the month as well as a complete overhaul of catalyst (thank god, catalyst was stuck in web2.0 days and reminded me of how fucking disgusting Windows XP -> Windows 7 looked)
