I am asking for a password manager, not something I already do.

I prefer Keepass 2. I keep my passwords synced between my computers and phone by putting the database in a BitTorrent Sync folder.

Doesn't everyone else use password generators to generate passwords like this?

I have a little notepad with all my passwords and relevant information. The safeguard against that being stolen is that I hide it and live in a safe neighborhood

Do you actually want the most safe way to protect your passwords?

Well, open notepad, type your passwords, print it off, delete the file take the paper with all your passwords, bury them in your backyard
???
Profit!
>>
>>51500951
A piece of paper. The chances of someone breaking into your house and finding and stealing your passwords is remote.

Your brain. I use a different password for every site.

I use a string of characters that starts each password followed by a delimiter follow by a site specific string.

So say my initial string is opsafaggot

My password for Facebook might be
Opsafaggot&soiserrbodyelse

Or for Netflix
Opsafaggot&.mov

I personally write all of my suffixes down and keep my initial string store din my brain only. That way worst case scenario they have half of the password and the other password is generally "not crackable".

Keepass.

I put it inside a locked OneNote tab

It's simple and from what I've read, the encryption on it is amazing.

Also pen and paper

https://github.com/myfreeweb/freepass looks neat, based on https://ssl.masterpasswordapp.com/algorithm.html , written in rust. Will try out soon.
