Use an abacus. No internet connection and can help you with basic calculations. All modern computers are a meme compared to this.

My computer never attacked me or harmed me in any way. I got an FX-8350 and 16 GB of ram. I can tell you specs if you want the same thing.

If your worried about FBI, NSA, or TSA doing stuff to your computer:

1. grab a used Libreboot supported laptop from http://libreboot.org/docs/hcl/index.html#supported_list/
or from ebay and attempt to flash it yourself

2. remove proprietary network card. It requires nonfree firmware to run.

3. remove bluetooth card.

4. remove sound card as this can be used to spy on you. Just use headphones.

5. read up on full disk encryption and The Onion Roouter.

6. install a FSF approved distro of your choice.

I run a Thinkpad x200 with Libreboot and Trisquel. It's nice.

Make sure you pick up a Thinkpenguin router as well
>The TPE-NWIFIROUTER Wireless-N router comes pre-installed with libreCMC, an FSF-endorsed embedded GNU/Linux distribution. For certification details, including certified source code, see www.fsf.org/resources/hw/endorsement/thinkpenguin
From https://www.fsf.org/resources/hw/endorsement/respects-your-freedom

Also make sure all your devices are inside a faraday cage. Researchers were able to tell what a computer was doing just by its electromagnetic radiation

Since it's birth you just gotta give it a little discipline, just make sure the little guy isn't born with the 970a-g43, otherwise you should look into abortion as they get too hot headed and it's just a pain to deal with. Like I'm playing farcry4 on max settings and he just goes apeshit on the fans it's terrible.
Also Install a chrome so it's not retarded aswell.
Anyway I haven't had any of mine try to hurt me in any way so you'll probably do just fine.

Disconnect it from the internet.
