Is having a KMS activated Pro version viable in the long run?

I got my hand on a win7 licence so I could have a legit Win10 if I did the win7 to win10 route but I don't want to reinstall and reconfigure everything. My setup is riced out (by windows standards) and is extremely comfy. I don't feel like reconfiguring and reinstalling everything.
