This is correct. See the Battery symbol with the exclamation mark in it on the right phone? That means it's in power saving mode, which clocks down the CPU and disables animations and other things.

its impressive for the price, but it IS still a mediatek SoC. Which means a tiny GPU (Mali T760MP2 in this case). And while yes it is an 8 core chip, they are all low power cores (A53). And not high power cores (A57).

Exynos 7420 handily destroys the Mediatek SoC. Especially in the graphics department, the Exynos 7420 uses the same Mali T760 GPU, but the MP8 configuration meaning it is 4x as large as the mediatek GPU.


Good for a budget device, but not really great all around.
