No guts? Post guts.
New pics w/ new lighting (birthday edition)
It's been a long time
My 770 is shitting the bed. Are there any new generation cards that are orange?
I've replaced the case fans with noctua's and I've got another 140mm fan that I'll put in when I mod the case.
who here /aesthetic/?
r9 290 xfx
8gb Hyper X fury DDR3
MSI z97 mobo
Corsair H55 CLC
120gb Kingston SSD
1TB WD HDD
These are my current specs. CPU is cooled with an H60. Since I go to LANs with my friends a fair amount, plan on flying out to one in the near future, would I be able to put this in a mini ITX rig? New mobo, PSU of course
yes a 980ti and 980 have some orange on them. Also some 290,290x have orange cards.
>I'd probably recommend Intel/Nvidia for mITX just because of less heat and power.
Yeah, true. Memes aside I'm afraid of actually burning it down. Can't really justify buying a whole new CPU and GPU just for a LAN rig, though. Any idea how I could fly with a mid tower? Don't think I could do carry on desu senpai
You could try MATX instead, for a nice happy medium. I don't think there are any ITX mobos for socket AM3+ anyways. Failing that, a mid tower is likely to take up most of your suitcase, so if you can't pack light you'll need to check two bags. Go to a craft store and buy some foam blocks, and cut those down to fill the empty space in your case, especially around the GPU to prevent it from shifting and damaging itself or the mobo. If you're putting it in it's own checked bag, you can use the foam to wedge the case inside as well.
HTPC with a 3800 APU in dual graphics mode with a 6450, 2 SSDs, 1 terabyte WD blue, and 8 GB of RAM. It's old.
It's not about what work you do. Keeping it cooler helps keep it working for longer before it dies. There's also the angle that better cooling allows you more headroom to play with your overclock.
I've never noticed before, but are the fans on your rad different from each other?
Got my LTT fan yesterday. It doesn't fit on the front of my D15s though.
Phanteks coolers give me such a boner. Seeing yours really makes me miss my ph-tc14pe.
I'm running a pentium 2 with 1 80GB 7200 RPM SATA install drive and 2 160GB 5400 RPMs in RAID with 4GB RAM and a GeForce 7300 (which is from some chink manufacturer that appeared and disappeared overnight)
It's in a 2005 lime green alienware case and I dont have a camera
I picked it up from the local garbage dump
originally I only put working components in it because I found it funny but right now I'm stuck on it as an internet/word machine
All your rigs are shit.
This is the master race 2015 rig that beats all your other rigs.
>smirking at this relic that was no doubt "the shit" when it was built, with four (4) optical drives no less
>see what looks like an nvidia logo from an nforce chipset
>get mad because you remember nforce was a thing
I live in the northeastern US, it snowed today. My heater temperature is set pretty low, and I live on the top floor of my house. Shitty case with h60 on my cpu, a few fans and voila, cold temps
More unnecessary new pics because these are too washed out for me.
Here we go!
If you, anon, have tips for my câble managment game, i'll listen.
I like that mini raven case, gonna get one of those sometime >>51492070
i just snapped this picture and it's night here. sorry for the bad quality.
r8 me m8ties
Even with that ridiculous CPU and assuming heavy overclocks he'd probably struggle to pull 900W. That said you can't expect someone with a 9590 to behave logically, thus an AX1200 seems fitting.
and another time for ALUMINUM AND TEMPERED GLASS
Here's a pic with a polarizing filter, so you don't see a reflection of my monitor
Ah, you got to it before I posted haha. That's such a good looking build. It's a 9.5/10 aesthetics for me just cause I'm not too keen on the ram. But yea. Great job senpai.
What ram do you currently have? 16gb of DDR3 Dominator RAM is cheaper now than it ever has been. Granted, it's 1600mhz 9-9-9-24, but still. Aesthetics senpai.
>no dragon dildo in the reflection
Step up nigga
Got home and the heat has been off for too long. Sucks for me but... them temps
LATE TO THE PARTY BUT STILL THE LIFE OF IT
Or you could just realize they're pointless and take them right off. Rubber mounts may work to quiet a cheap shitty fan that rattles all over the place, but a quality fan like a Noctua, Noiseblocker, or Gentle Typhoon has no need for them.
There isn't room. The fan mount that the tubes pass through is 92mm. That back panel was specifically designed to allow the installation of a 120mm CLC in that location.
