guys... if you are using terminator just because it has multiplexing... just stop... there is tmux or screen for this.
Multiplexing in terminal emulators is just bloat
Mfw everybody is just listing terminal emulators not terminals
I've been using sakura for a long time. Never had any problems with it.
So what are actually the differences between all these terminal emulators? I just use gnome-terminal because it came with Fedora and I can't think of any advantage another terminal would bring. Are there advantages? Convince me to switch, /g/.
What determines keyboard shortcuts and behaviours of input like ALT+Backspace?
On some machines I get deletion of a word until a dash or something. (as opposed to CTRL+W, which just deletes the whole word) and on others it prints a 'D'.
Wtf is going on, it's urxvt
>convince me to switch
nah, you are a free fag.
st, because you don't need a configuration file when you configure the config.h
>inb4: b-b-b-but you can't tweak it and you need to redo it for every updates
Do a shell script. other wise why do'ther with utils and shell.
I used to use terminator when i didnt have a tiling wm, now that i have one its pretty pointless but i still use it out of habit. I'm also too lazy to do the whole .Xresources thing with urxvt
