The problem with this thing is you have to uscrew the bottom of your laptop to plug it into the wifi card spot.

It's a pain in the ass and when it's all set up you might as well be using a desktop.

We get the same thread literally every day and there's already one on the front page of /g/.

The consensus is that it's probably a waste of time and might fuck up your laptop if you're not careful, and it would just be easier to build a PC or even buy a cheap/refurbished prebuilt.

Someone needs to make an image like the iphone image for this...

eGPU user here, works pretty well.

Using the EXP GDC Beast through expresscard on my T520 with a 7950.

When using AMD you pretty much need an external display, and even with nvidia I highly recommend it.
