OP, try Fleksy or Swype.

SwiftKey hasn't been the best keyboard for something like five years. Google Keyboard is better (or at least exactly the same) in every way. Fleksy is the only other one worth using.

Not OP, but every keyboard has a feel, so to speak. They may have different way of typing in punctuation, or secondary letters/languages. The key sizes could be different. Some have gestures, and some do not. Predictions and corrections differ as well. And some are slower that the others.

There are plenty of differences.

Seriously, why is this shit still reinvented for smartphones? And why people pay for it is beyond my understanding.

What I'd want is plain old T9 keyboard. I was efficient with it on phones with mechanical keyboard. How many of such keyboard are on Android store? Less than number of fingers on hand and they all sucks because they're not really T9 keyboards. For text, numbers are last for fucks sake.

I'm using MessagEase for some time but I'm still not used to it.

Coming from swiftkey, a application I have been using for four years, moving the backspace button wasn't something I could deal with.
