>this laggy piece of shit is the best android keyboard
data mining piece of fucking shit botnet
Is it like the Z10 keyboard? I own a Q10 so I've never used it but judging by images it looks super sleek.
Google Keyboard doesn't let you type in different language on the fly, i.e. you have to manually switch through the space key.
SwiftKey automatically, most of the time, recognizes what language you're typing in and auto-completes accordingly.
They have flattened it out a bit during the 10.3 update, which I think looks even better. Word flicking is still there, of course. Word correction is superb.
OP, try Fleksy or Swype.
Not OP, but every keyboard has a feel, so to speak. They may have different way of typing in punctuation, or secondary letters/languages. The key sizes could be different. Some have gestures, and some do not. Predictions and corrections differ as well. And some are slower that the others.
There are plenty of differences.
>Google Keyboard doesn't let you type in different language on the fly
My goddamn phone is too big so I have to settle for this piece of crap
Yea it's pretty terrible.
>swipe up to change correction!
>swipe down to switch!
>swipe left to delete!
>swipe right to kill yourself!
What the fuck is wrong with just having a button? How is it easier to remember all these clumsy gestures?
Also, no swype input = instant trash.
I can figure it out, it just isn't any more intuitive or fluid than using buttons. Swiping my finger across my entire keyboard takes LONGER than simply hitting the delete button. It's also more prone to error if the keyboard doesn't register the gesture. It's an objectively terrible alternative
Hacker's Keyboard, it's simple, clean and complete.
>"master" an alternative to something that already works perfectly fine
You sound like a fucking idiot if you think there's anything to master about moving your finger across your keyboard. But yea, why would I not invest effort to practice pointless gimmicks that will ultimately lower my productivity no matter how attuned I get?
>he keeps shilling for an objectively shitty keyboard like its the only alternative
>what is google keyboard
lmao do you wipe your ass left and right when taking a shit too
>I-I don't partake in this discussion, b-but!
lol, nice pussyfooting shitlord
I love the keyboard on my asus tablet; just wish i could use it on my phone. tried extracting the apk and installing it that way but it wouldn't work.
>you can't figure out
There's that phrasing again. Maybe you should figure out how to read the explicit meaning in sentences instead of injecting whatever bullshit argument you want.
I figured it out just fine, it's just a terrible fucking system.
do you have to start every post with "I'm not even a member of this group"? fucking spineless and sad man
Seriously, why is this shit still reinvented for smartphones? And why people pay for it is beyond my understanding.
What I'd want is plain old T9 keyboard. I was efficient with it on phones with mechanical keyboard. How many of such keyboard are on Android store? Less than number of fingers on hand and they all sucks because they're not really T9 keyboards. For text, numbers are last for fucks sake.
I'm using MessagEase for some time but I'm still not used to it.
Swype is the breast.
I can't live without the copy, cut, paste shortcuts on a keyboard anymore.
There's also an xposed module to use Google voice instead of Dragon dictation.
