Anyone have any experience with these?
The Dell and Acer are almost the same, with the Acer being newer and having a tiny but more brightness and 6ms refresh rate instead of 8 on the Dell.
The other ones are all PLS displays with fast response times, but only 8bit color support unlike the Dell or Acer.
The Samsung display has free sync, but I don't have an AMD GPU and don't plan on upgrading my video card until sometime next year.
What 4k monitors are you guys using?

I wish I knew the Acer CB240HYK was a 10-bit 4k panel at that price.
I'm using an Acer K242HQK that I got for $325. It's not bad, and I like the tight pixel pitch. No longer need AA in games, as MSAA is just good enough.

is the acer cb240hyk better than the dell p2415q?

They're likely the exact same panel, so they'll perform roughly the same. The Dell certainly looks aesthetically nicer, though. It's up to your personal taste, though.

thanks, I just ordered a bigger desk and I'm looking into getting a 4K monitor for my gaymen rig.
Does me fine, with shit speakers built in too...

It says 1.07 Billion Colors supported on the information. There are no reviews of it yet though.
The Viewsonic is super cheap, though it only supports 16.7 million colors and is PLS.
Guys my model doesnt have the Y in..... hmmm

That monitor is really affordable for the size.
28" is to big for my monitor arms though. Does that monitor have IPS glow?
Just picked up one of these how fucked am I /g/?

I thought 28" 4K monitors were fucking stupid, but 24"...? What the fuck for? Do people sit with their noses glued to their displays where they can count every individual pixel?

I have a small desk and my monitors are on arms. So I can just pull either one about 5 or so inches away from my face while leaning back in my chair.

I actually have this display. It's alright, and this is a TN panel but all in all it's not a bad monitor. The colour accuracy is amazing for the price and the viewing angles are definitely in the top end of a TN panel.

You don't need or want to see the pixels. That's the entire fucking point, man. High PPI.
If reading small text is a problem, increase text scaling. You know, Ctrl + "+" or Ctrl + "Scroll Wheel Up" on your browser?

24" 4K gives us 184 dpi. According to Jobs, 300 DPI is best viewed 10 inches away. So, the ideal distance of a 184 dpi screen is 17 inches away. Not so super fetched.

I sit 10 inch from my monitor, isn't that the norm?
>>51455972
You can probably discern the individual pixels if you have a good vision.

I'd say 50 - 60 cm is more normal.
