I've yet to see a non-shielded cable for more than a 1-2€.
As long as it says "shielded" in the description you will be fine.

Besides it's just 3 foot. With shielding magnetic interference over such small distance is a non issue

You can't see it, it's under the insulation.
You can guess from the thickness of the cable, the really thin ones are unshielded

I just buy the cheapest one on ebay from some Chinese seller. They always work just fine.

Here I made you a comparison.
The thicker one is a Proel diehard dhg100 mono instrument cable, double shielded, it was around 10 bucks for a 0.5m, if I remember correctly, so hardly an expensive cable, but manufacturer claims it's for "professional applications"

THe other one is the cheapest unshielded piece of shit with 0.20USD/piece connectors from a construction store.

And the difference in sound quality was audible even for an untrained ear like mine.
