Total price is £950 I believe. Thoughts? My hope was that I could take this build, then once 4k becomes more affordable slap a second r9 390 in there and be good to go. Am I going to need a 390x instead?

Also, the FX8350 might do 4k, but the fps won't be too great. If you don't care about heat, buy an FX9590, **IMPORTANT: TURN OFF THE TURBO (or your PC will freeze randomly and the only fix is a hard restart)*** and you should be good. (Source: I own a 9590.)

Turbo is disabled in the BIOS, you only need to do it once. The 9590 isn't particularly overclock friendly, but it comes out if the box with 4.7ghz so that's not really a concern.

Umm, I dont speak euros, I'm an Amerifat, but I'm pretty sure you could get a 980 with that budget. Correct me if I'm wrong.
