That's the case with a lot of Finnish industry. Most people don't even know it exists because it's mostly heavy machinery and industrial infrastructure as opposed to consumer products.

For example, if you've ever ridden a Kone elevator- that's Finnish tech, even though most people assume Kone is a Japanese company.

Does this mean Alcatel devices will cease to exist in some time in the future? If yes then I'd never think I'd consider buying another Alcatel device again...but with a Nokia brand.
