That's pretty obviously not the OP's screenshot
>>
I've always hated their icons, but the rest of it looks really nice.

Tfw all my programs won't be in an unusable heap on the bottom of my desktop. Tfw I can actually manage my windows without having to write or download a program to do it.
>>
Who gives a fuck?
All that nice gui bullshit are nice for Few months' but in the end simple quick responive window menager is all that matter. Fuck all that blur animation bullshit minimalism is tue way
>>
>>51425032
i dont even use it but the Gnome OSX ripoff actually looks much better
>>
>>51425032
I use osx for software that I can't use on linux, and even I agree that that looks like shit. I don't even use the dock anymore. Only way to make it look nice is to try and make it look like a linux desktop
>>
>>51425032
Thank god.
>>
>>51425032
It looks extremely good, but the UI is so sluggish sometimes.
>>
>>51425032
I wonder if people actually really like this design, it makes me wanna puke

Well congrats because you can change them with a third party program

Macfag here, I loathe it. It actually makes me wanna puke *literally*, with headaches, unless I turn on the "increased contrast" which turns off translucency and makes buttons like this.
>>
>>51425032
KDE.
>>
>>51425509
this. every time I use another pc or see someone use their pc I get disgusted by all the programs slowness, hanging, crashing, etc.
it's just the way it goes for those people. oh, computers! am i right?

my tiny wm, terminal-based programs and scripts might not have much bling bling, but they're sturdy as a rock, just reliable as fuck.

do you guys think steve is rolling around in his grave?

I hate docks and apps menu up. So, no.

everything is so smooth, I have to admin it's beautiful
>>
>>51425629
You can turn off transparency without enabling the shitty contrast outlines
>>
>>51425756
The contrast lines actually help. Also increase contrast makes some fonts darker and more legible too.
>>
>dock
>menu in top bar
>top bar
>horrible windows
It's fucking hideous. Font's pretty nice though, though if I really gave a shit I can make font in GNU look nice too.

Is shit.

Finished your sentence for you :)

Nickelodeon meme

Why does Safari pause loading the page and capture my input when a password or plugin prompt comes up? Why doesn't double-clicking on a title bar maximize the window? Why do I need to make an app transform into its own full-screen workspace in order to ACTUALLY maximize it? Why don't apps close when you press the red X? Why does the "natural" scroll wheel behavior emulate a touchscreen swipe, instead of a wheel being rolled over the page in the direction that you push it? Why can't you tile windows?

I liked Mac OS before X, it seems like everything is self-consciously designed to be "different" now.
>>
>>51425560
newfag here. What OS/theme/whatever is that?
>>
>tfw cinnamon with Numix Frost Light
I can never go back.

That said, I think the Linux icon packs are a bit underwhelming. But then again that goes for most OS's.
>>
I don't really see the appeal of a tob bar and a bottom bar.

Why not just keep it all on one bar and save some space?
>>
>>51426290
>muh 20 pixels of space
>>
Meh. Linux is all about function over form which is probably for the best.
>>
>>51426347
Yes. 20 pixels that could otherwise be used for say, a bookmark menu on a browser.
