My current build has:
i5-3470
16GB of RAM
Zotac GTX 970
It's really good, and I see no point in upgrading for many many years to come.
I have an Xbox One laying around, I no longer use it, ever since I got that PC, I have a bunch of shit with it so I could sell it for a decent price. Should I do that, and then get a 2nd build?

^ these are the parts im thinking about, I would like to OC the CPU.
I could then pickup 2 HD 7970s and crossfire.

>AMD
Wait for Zen, if that's a flop then AMD is finished.
>2nd build
Literally why. Save your daddy's money you heretic.
>>51419727
I have my own money you fucking faggot.
>>51419696
It's like you don't have any real friends who come over and casually game with you.
>>51419739
Get a laptop then, that 2nd PC is going to sit gathering dust. At least with a laptop you can move it around.
>>51419721
I'm guessing that Zen will be pretty expensive.
>14nm
>DDR4
>Mini ITX
>>51419753
I already have 2 laptops...
They aren't the best though.
>>51419696
Don't spend anymore money on computers or parts hat you don't need. Just put the money into savings.
>>51419744
I actually do though.
>>51419777
You do have a point anon.
>>51419769
Well in that case just keep hold of the cash or at most get a CPU upgrade.
>>51419802
Not even then. My CPU is sufficient
>>51419802
This, get an i7-3770K or if you don't do overclocking the non K version.
>>51419842
What about an SSD? Dual monitor? A nice pair of /g/ approved headphones?
>>51419863
For my current build?
>>51419885
Yes, especially dual monitors. You won't ever want to ever go back to using just one afterwards.
>>51419934
You won't ever want to go back to a single monitor set up afterwards.*
>>51419934
I have a 32inch TV, and 24inch Monitor on my desk I don't think I can fit anything else.
>>51419955
An extra internal hard drive for backups?
>>51419995
I have 2 external hard drives that I was using for the Xbox One
4TB My Book
1TB Elements
>>51420014
Well I don't know what to suggest then, maybe you could send me the cash instead?
>>51420022
CPU should be good enough..
If you can manage to OC it to 5ghz
>>51420611
Wonder if its possible for me too pull off...
