I actually kind of like the idea of what this guy is doing. I would like it if there was a 4chan theme that made 4chan look like that if I wanted to. Without the scammy wordfilters, though, but the assigned usernames, kind of like 420chan? Fuckin' cool beans, and you can't even get pissed about trip/namefagging OR samefagging.

Well, we have no usernames, since everyone posts anonymously, it's easy to just make fake usernames for each post. If he used reddit, he would have to find a way to avoid posts where they mention eachother by name, which is especially difficult for a bot if redditors were referring to eachother by nicknames that weren't quite their fully properly spelled usernames.

That, and 4chan is one of the oldest english language image boards of its kind so far as I know. I mean he could have (and who knows, maybe he HAS) tried four-twenty-chan or eight-chan or 7chan but they could die any minute now. 4chan has lived longer and is thus likely to live longer and will be a fatter healthier teat for this man to suck.

I don't see the problem with having it as a popular option as long as pure anonymity is respected. I know that's an unpopular opinion that tends to give rise to shitposting, but even so, its not even the idea I was really proposing. On 420chan, every post you make is associated with an autogenerated username, that only exists for 24 hours before being switched to a completely different auto-generated username. You can't really call THAT a persona or anything.
