Multitasking on the N9 isn't poor because of 2GB RAM, it's poor because the official Android builds for the N9 are garbage.

I own both a N9 & a N5, both have 2GB RAM, both are running the official stock builds. The N5 flies through everything, the N9 grinds to a crawl about 15 minutes after a reboot, even if you're only running a single app.

If you want the N9 to run properly, you either have to install a third party ROM, or wait for Google to do their fucking job & fix the hideous bugs in the official builds.

I'm using an android phone too, btw (Note 4 running CM12.1). Once you jailbreak your iPad, you can get absolutely anything for free. It's hilariously easy.

I think the price is wrong -- should be at least in the 450 tier -- and It looks it'll be hard to find them without the infamously shitty keyboard sony decided to pair them with.

Looking to buy a new tablet to replace my nexus 7, I'm currently looking at the Asus Zenpad S 8.0($300 version with 4gb RAM, 64gb on board memory, 2.3ghz intel 64bit chip) and the just announced refresh of the Nividia Shield tablet($199, nvidia chip for better gaming, 2gb RAM)

the Asus tablet seems to have a better form factor, but the nvidia tablet gets that wifi-direct nvidia controller which would mean it blows the Asus out when it comes to game emulation

the Asus might also be stuck on 5.0 lollipop on a permanent basis as tablets are prone to do, while Nvidia has pledged the refreshed Shield to get 6.0 Marshmallow before Christmas

Still using an HP touchpad with android, that sweet 4:3 screen ratio for muh manga is amazing, but wow is it slow now. I can barely have two apps open before it starts shitting itself, also battery drain life is doo doo.

I wish I could find a nice affordable 4:3 ratio tablet, that's not a Chinese telecast with no hope of warranty
