The only functional pre-owned PS3's start at $80 or so, and they have a way smaller hard drive. I'm expecting the PS4 to get jailbroken eventually, so I'd much rather have newer and more compatible hardware than that Power CPU in the PS3. I was given a DS4 a while back too, so might as well put that to use.

So some false advertising; NVIDIA somehow retroactively crippling older cards; some optional proprietary libraries for performance; and AMD SUCKS at running tessellation, HairWorks, and CARS.

Money and politics aside, NVIDIA is a better choice as an end user. Their cards just work better, faster, and more reliably, on less power.

Also, CARS is a driver issue. It's actually fixed... on Win10. With beta drivers I believe. Not sure why 10 was necessary, but I heavily doubt it's innocent of greed.
