Have you really never dealt with a client in whatever field tardraging about "inconsistency" or "change"? There are people who can't function if you replace the red on the x that kills the window with a different color. You don't always accommodate them, but using standards or common design choices isn't really unreasonable accommodation professionally speaking

I think bootstrap is unnecessary bloated as is every other web framework I've ever seen. Maybe its because I understand that most websites are documents not app[lication]s unlike all the web developers who must think Excel file are apps.
