Buying Nokia was a complete disaster for Microsoft
Why is a company like Microsoft lumbering from one disaster to another?
How many years before we see Microsoft split into smaller entities and sold off?
If it is allowed to carry on much longer it will be a disaster for the economy when it has to throw tens of thousands of people out of work
Isnt it time that the markets demand the breakup of Microsoft?

Unix-like OS everywhere
I don't wanna write 150 lines instead of 10 in my scripts when they have to be compatibile with Windows anymore.

cancer
daily reminder that the world would be running plan9 if unix didn't kill it off

Both hundred times better than Microsoft's shit.
Unix based OSes aren't ready for desktop. I hate to say this, but we actually need shit like SystemD if Linux is going to actually make a real foothold. But more than that, we need Wayland to get finished, and we need Nvidia and AMD to start making drivers for Wayland. Addtionally, we need some kind of universal software repository that will work between all distros.

Then how do you explain macshit tbqh (to be quite honest)?

Apple've made useble desktop OSes. Google too.
Only Microsoft fucked up.

Retarded idea
A linux distro has to make a sane way of installing packages, ala OS X click and drag.

What does that even mean ? You're saying that it's not fit for desktop because it's Unix ? Or that the Unix-like OSes we have now aren't fit for dekstop ?
Because you're wrong in both cases.
