Hey /g/ what is your favorite ebook reader? I'm thinking about purchasing one because i hate reading on my phone or pc. What are good recommendations?
Actual books
the one that doesnt kill my eyes
I'm looking to grab an android based one. Fuck anything kindle/kobo/whatever the fuck.
I had a Kobo aura hd and while the thing was decent, the software in it actually killed me internally. I am dead.

Any toughts on the Pocketbook Touch 3? Heard good things about it.
Found the latest kindle paperwhite on ebay, brand new for £79, it's £109 on amazon, should I do it?

kindle
You have easy access to the amazon store (which is probably the biggest one / the one with the best selection) if you want to buy books online.
And there is always Calibre if you want to pirate books. So, no downsides.

I use a Kindle 3 (older model)
Stick to the e-ink screens if you actually like regular books. They work really well and are super power efficient.
Thought about upgrading to a paperwhite but tbh, there doesn't seem to be much improvement except the higher resolution.

I have a Kindle Paperwhite, but I hate using it. I'd much rather read a book. I have no real reason, it just feels better reading the book.

whenever you move to another apartment or house, you will realize the downside to your opinion
>books tend to weigh a metric fuckton
>you (almost) never read the same book twice
>dead weight
