Instead of the "asdf jkl;" Home keys, I used how i would type in google as a home set.

I remember being 15 and peck typing. Thought typing classes were stupid. Took one, learned to touch type.

Never looked back. I actually chuckle at peck typers now. Scum of the earth.

Plenty of online resources. Search dvorak and then just use the qwerty classes. Free 99

i can type the proper way, i learned recently from online games and sources but i dont do it enough for it to feel natural and i have to force myself to do it

JumpStart Typing was pretty helpful

i type very unusual but it is somewhat effective. i only use my left ring, middle, and index finger. and my right index finger. weird but it works

200 days of Runescape as a teenager basically taught me how to type like a professional data entry monkey.

I start with my fingers on the home row, but typing became so natural I just move my hands around on the keyboard, feeling the words. I can't even tell which fingers I use.
If the correct way is like what Dvorak teaches, then I don't do it the correct way.

Yep. 120-130 WPM sustained here, when I'm in the zone.

There's no excuse for not knowing how to type properly if you were born after 1990. How is not being proficient even possible if you were brought up using computers throughout childhood/adolescence?
