Apparently it comes with a secondary screen on the top that displays notifications when the main screen is off and a favorites bar when its on. Also has a fingerprint reader on the power button, otherwise they're pretty much the same phone.

Every appliance I have except my washer and dryer and stove/oven have infrared. Turning on the microwave from my living room with my phone is a privilege I have checked many times and refuse to give up

It withstands drops better too. He basically had to throw it up into the air and have it land on the corner to actually crack the screen. You can see in the video how strong that stainless steel chassis is. I imagine it'll be a somewhat heave phone though.

I just leave food in there after I make something so that when I get hungry later I can just warm up the thawed food.

I'm looking to get one some time next year after they've depreciated. The G3 was something like $580 new (at Verizon) but now they're $380 for one new in the box.
