I'm using an x200 right now and it works pretty great, y'know. Core 2 duo.

You have less max ram, but newer generation processor. 1080p screen vs the 720p screen on a x220. The main advantage aside from the screen is the improved integrated graphics.

The question is whether it is worth 4x the cost for those improvements to you even with your discount.

My x220 plays DaS II on near max graphics just fine. No clue what the x250 will do but the Intel HD 4000 is supposed to be almost double the performance of the HD 3000.

11e? You mean the X250? I can't say yet since I'm waiting to get an order confirmation from Lenovo but they have added back the trackpoint buttons and the screen can be a 1080p IPS. Keyboard flex seems to be a problem, unknown build quality compared to previous models I'm considering comparing the X250 to my X220 and X201

A 256gb ssd for the x220 will add another $100 to the price, and you'll have to factor in the cost of adding more ram if you want it. Also only the i7's have usb3 if you care about that

not exactly shit tier but it's still the same resolution and all the LG produced panels have the ghosting effect where if you have something high contrast on screen for a few minutes and then switch to something dark grey you will see shadows of what was there before and they can stick around for up to a few minutes. Some of the Macbook Pros had this too.
