If I remember correctly, there are some modern thinkpads that have 2 batteries - one external and one somewhat weak internal battery. You can hot swap out the battery without having to plug it in, thus allowing you to use the laptop for days at a time if you carry a few extra batteries with you. Good for someone who needs to take his laptop with him anywhere, even in the middle of the fucking Sahara.

I'm a medical student and the app store is phenomenal with extremely accurate and interactive apps. The only issue is no way to really use note taking apps or even styli that do not ruin the ipads screen.
