Just nice and easy to work on. Cheap but have a damn good amount of power especially for the money. Pretty custumizable and stupid rugged. Its nice to have two storage drives and the express card slot to plug into a mobile gpu set up. I'm not an insane die hard fan, but they get shit done.

The difference really isn't huge. All it did was make my sound slightly more detailed in the high range and a little bit louder from the FL/FR sources.

My new headphones are definitely a cleaner/more accurate sound, and more detailed than my speaker set up. Girlfriend bought my some Philips Fidelio's; currently running them through a Schiit Brifrost Uber and the 6.3mm output on my Marantz NR1604. Probably going to replace the cable on these, and waiting for an Asgard 2 in the mail. These will hold me over until my next upgrade.

It isn't horrible. I would say try routing your cables like >>47345987, moving the nendks somewhere else (and generally freeing up a bit of space on the desk). You said you can't afford good stuff, so I can't really think of a lot more you can do om the cheap. Getting a new desk would obviously improve it a fair bit.

It's got potential I think. The desk looks pretty well organised although I'd imagine that it could feel more spacious without the figures.

With your cables it's tricky seeing as you have a glass desk. Buy some cheap velcro cable ties from amazon and try to get them into groups, then cable tie them together and to the frame of the desk.

If you can stretch to it, might you consider a new desk? Perhaps a corner desk going around to the window(?)

If you live in or near a big city, lurk your local craigslist for a new desk, such as an Ikea Galant or something.

Can also find secondhand monitors for pretty good deals if you want a secondary or replace your current one.
