gee
what browser are you using
every browser seems broken in some critical way to me now. it wasn't like that before. I don't understand
>>47098615
How the fuck is Firefox broken, you retard?
>>47098647
when I leave it running for more than a few days, it gradually slows down until it's not useable. closing tabs doesn't have any effect, only restarting the program entirely.
>>47098690
What the fuck do you need your browser open for a few says straight. Jesus christ.
>>47098719
Under what circumstances would you ever want to close your browser?
>>47098690
Let me guess, you're on Windows?
This doesn't happen on GNU/Linux, though the longest I've kept my browser open was about 4 days.
Chromium
>>47098736
>doesn't happen on linux
yeah, it does.
>>47098615
WebKit
>>47098781
Not OS X though.
Also use FireFox.
>>47098615
Right now? Chrome.
On my Windows install I run Chrome, Firefox and IE. Each of them have different strengths and weaknesses.
On my linux install I run chromium and firefox
>>47098781
No, it doesn't. At least not to me.
>>47098733
I don't know
>>47098690
Well, I mean... then restart it? Closing a program and then starting it back up once every few days is not a lot of maintenance. You piss more often than that, and pissing takes more effort. Unless you're hooked up to like a catheter or something.
Please tell me you're not hooked up to a catheter or something.
>>47098801
You're one datum. We need more than that to make general statements like "doesn't happen on gnu/linux"
>>47098805
You'd lose your tabs doing that, and the restoration would bring up the current version of the pages instead of the older instances, which might be a problem if you were saving something. In any case, that shouldn't be an acceptable condition.
>phone
Opera.
>laptop
Firefox.
Opera 12. I'm one of the last, I think we had 6 confirmed users last thread about it. Facebook doesn't work anymore, which is fucking awesome. Newegg doesn't either, but Amazon takes up the slack there. It's amazing how well Presto is holding up after so many years without development.

No, either you're autistic or have some form of OCD.

since it is only one process you can easily close it and then restore.

>On my Windows install I run Chrome, Firefox and IE. Each of them have different strengths and weaknesses.
It used to be fine to run Firefox (phoenix, even) forever without any trouble. Why do we need to switch between a multitude of browsers now because none of them can actually go too far without crapping out on something?
>>47099161
restore reloads the tabs
>>47098615
I think you're just an autistic little cunt, mate. Fuck off.

chrome 64bit
Firefox. It's slow at times and I usually have to use Chrome to watch YouTube videos but I can't give up this vertical tab bar.
Everything in 2015 is fucking shit. Everything was better when it was much simpler and stability was the prime focus.
Pale Moon on my PC, Firefox on my phone.
>>47100563
shhh, shh, shut the fuck up for 1 whole day
>>47098615
Lynx.
I've been using Pale Moon pretty much since it launched. I haven't looked back since. It demands much less resources than Firefox since it strips out the bloated Australis interface and useless features like parental controls and crash reporting. I've never seen PM eat more than 200 MB of RAM at a time, even after hours of browsing with several tabs open.
I have no idea how well the Linux port performs.
>>47100633
Pretty solid.
It crashed on me twice in the past two weeks, but I'm 99% sure that it was because I'm fucking retarded.
>>47098884
brofist, if you didnt know many sites work correctly after you spoof browser credentials
>>47098690
maybe learn to bookmark, not be a tab hoarder
Firefox feels ancient, Chrome is pure botnet, so I use Safari.
Offend me, I don't give a shit
