If you couldn't tell just by looking at them that wouldn't be a problem (until you decide to have children). The core problem is that a lot of "trans*" people just do not make convincing women/men. The technology to make them convincing is not there and may not be there any time soon.

A decent distribution format would be a low-level bytecode that runs directly on the machine, with a well-defined ABI for them to interact with the browser's components.

Decades of research have gone into developing Operating Systems, which are programs with the explicit purpose of running multiple other programs and facilitating their interactions. There's no need to reinvent this in browsers (badly).

Also, you're missing the fucking point. JavaScript support should be an extension, not built into the browser. If I want to be able to switch to an alternative JS interpreter, or disable it completely, I should be able to.

Well it's not much different from writing coffeescript or dart really. Asm.js code is perfectly valid javascript the only difference is it lacks OOP and dynamic memory allocation and other features that make it more complicated.
