I run full arch in a chroot of chromeos on my c720. You can also erase chromeos entirely and install full distros through seabios on most models. The only annoyance is on boot you have to press alt+l to bring up Linux but it isn't a big deal or even very annoying.

Download crouton from the github page, sudo sh -e ~/Downloads/crouton -t "your WM here", wait for it to install, enter username and pass, sudo startYourWMName. Now you have a live Linux instance you can switch to using ctrl+alt+shift+forward button and back button to go between chrome and your choice.
Ctrl+d on startup to accept dev mode is all it takes, along with the start command to restart the crouton instance.

Its really quite easy. Even more so than a normal Linux install.

I would honestly love this laptop. But I never like installing Arch where it's not intended, breaks too often. Reminds me of hackintoshes.
