droid 3. I used the extended battery with it, a tempered glass screen and the otterbox rim that goes around the screen (the full case wouldn't fit with the extended battery back)

I got a samsung galaxy note 3, and it still doesn't compare, everything about the droid 3 made it my favoritest phone ever, built-in hardware keyboard included.
that phone took such a beating over the years I used it.

Wherever it is, I hope it found a good home :3

First and current smartphone.

Although battery is wearing down and it's noticeably starting to slow down with more modern and heavy apps.

What new phones have easily removable storage, easily removable battery, metal frame, and matte grippy surface? Usually I just hide phone threads..
>>
First was an HTC Aria. I loved that phone. It had a soft touch back, optical trackpad, and was tiny as hell. I'd be down for an updated version with the same aesthetics.

It was also bright yellow on the inside, which was weird because it didn't show through anywhere on the phone. You could only see it when changing the SIM/battery/SD card.

A Nokia 5230

The worst phone I've ever owned.

>256mb RAM
Symbian is already sluggish, the lack of RAM certainly didn't help alleviate the situation
>Resistive screen
Had to press extra hard on the screen to make it register my clicks. Frustrating experience.
>No Wifi
Absolutely awful, it had no reason not to include such a basic feature.
>2MP camera
To say potato, would be an understatement
>70mb internal memory
Severely limits the permitted installed apps. Absolute suckage.
>very limited customization
>can't install half the apps you download due to some certificate bullshit

Upgrading to a quad-core 1.5Ghz, 2gb ram, 13mp camera chinkphone was such a great feeling.

I'd be all for a Nintenphone, but those controls look uncomfortable as fuck. It'd be extremely top-heavy and it'd kill your hands after a few minutes.
It'd be more like NIntendo to provide a controller case with the phone so the phone could be held in a landscape format and the size wouldn't be compromised when users weren't using physical controls.
Of course the phone would also make use of outdated specs to keep costs down while using interesting gimmicks to keep sales up.

I understand the privacy concern but others wont: the typical "if you arent doing anything to hide then why worry" as well as "why would they care about you?"

but your loss of privacy is the cost of their "safety" as they see it

those of us who like our privacy will be more and more viewed as deviants and threats to the new world order

No matter what anyone says this was really the first proper smart phone available. Nokia N-70. I had this in 2004 I think. After the N-75 and N-90 Android phones hit the market. Smart phones never got back to the same level for another 8 years I reckon, gee....t..t..th...thanks Jewgle.

Thanks for making me wait a decade to get back to what I had in 2004.

Amazing, if you ask me. In my ideal world, we all have one device that fits in the palm of your hand. When you get home, you plug it into your desktop monitor, when you want to watch TV, you plug it into your 50 inch TV. It plays every game, has unlimited extremely fast access to the internet, and comes with a wide array of accessories, such as a controller dock, so you can play games right on the screen on the go, ala phonejoy (Makes it look like a PSVita). Or a laptop dock, so you can use a more or less full sized keyboard and larger screen on the go.

Every piece of technology you need, minus the displays and other accessories, in one single device.
