Obligatory battlestation thread. it's that time, now that the old one is dying.
Just got my DAC in today, it's bigger than I thought. Waiting for my monitor mount, and headphone amp. Then some small touches and I think she'll be finished.
As always I like this one. Clean, organised and it looks like you have great cable management, although honestly the lighting makes it hard to see.
nice as always
cool arcade thing
Its never finished, always a work in progress
I would define an inMotion iPod speaker from about 2006 as shit-tier...so speakers is probably what I'll go with. No idea what though, asked in the last /bst/ and didn't get much, sadly.
It's free real estate
I haven't taken a new picture because nothing has changed.
Speccy, guts and waifu
I can't tell if I like the mix of the case and desk, maybe move case as the other guy said. Also it feels like the poster is kind of lost behind that monitor. I like their positions, though.
>the filename made me die
8/10 thats a lot of stuff.
>constantly kicking your computer
>computer on the floor
Sexy cable management though
>computer on the floor
got life figured out/10
you should get real keyboard/10
is that a fucking gameboy micro/10
your picture is too dark and I can't see your speaker placement/10
you know you want them, only ~500 bucks bro.
Aww sheeeit negro!
We both have the same case, its nice. Its very nice.
At least I don't need to buy a christmas tree when the time comes.
I finally put up a shelf on the left wall.
Got nothing to put on it though...
I like this one, the colours are really pleasing to look at and the little touches like the ducks and lego headphone stand make a difference. However, you should dust your windowsill.
nice gpu/cpu mang
Nice triple monitor setup, like the duck and lego headset holder. What dac are you using?
+ points for fractal case
Nice CRT gigantic QcK mousemat thinkpad and audio technica headset
Very clean, nice siberia case keyboard benq 144hz monitor mousemat mice (fuck yea steelseriess)
>Nice triple monitor setup, like the duck and lego >headset holder. What dac are you using?

Thank you, i use a Pioneer VSX-916 for the speakers, and onboard sound for the headphones.
I've been trying to improve my setup visibly since my actual computer is fine. I think the lamp adds a bit of maturity to the high school tier desk. I'm currently saving up for a better desk, but it'll be a few months before I can afford one. Also, the keyboard doesn't really mesh well with the rest of my stuff, I may get something better. I'll check /MKG/ to see what kinds of keyboards I should look at and maybe get a sampler.
Sorry for the crappy camera quality.
Gonna clean today. Probably get rid of a bunch of papers from my desk. Any ideas that don't involve buying anything?
I mean, my desk is only about 59.5" long. The keyboard is about as big as any other keyboard, save for the fact that it's got about an extra inch on either side of it. Still though, I'm waiting for a Poker II w/ MX Clears to drop on MD.
No new picture for a while.
I want to upgrade to a TJ08 and 212Evo.
My drunk ass broke my chair a few days ago, so I'm stuck with a lawn chair for the next few days.
Sorry about the shitty pic, my Nexus 6 takes terrible photos.
Dont need luck when the computers feet raise it 2" off the ground.
They're both Dell U2414H's. I got them for $250 a piece, but I think they typically run for $300. I definitely reccommend them; they have great color reproduction, the bezels are perfect for multi-monitor setups, & the pixel response-time is good enough for gaming if you're into that.
They're my ideal 1080p monitor, but I do have one complaint: the goddamn touch sensitive buttons are downright terrible. Though that's being nitpicky since you barely use them.
If you end up buying one, shop around & you'll find them much cheaper. Like I said, I got mine for $250 a piece since I looked around.
I really love my new MBPr 13", it's just glorious
I have a desktop PC connected to the monitor. The Macbook is only used for studying, do you even see a HDMI cable? No...
Also, get the 15" if you won't mind the extra weight and money. I didn't get it because I thought it was too big, and wayyy to expensive. Europe prices are disgusting
Jokes on you. My room is like this almost always. 1SG and SGM inspecs on the reg and Pass no issue.
I guess it helps that my roommate is a brony because they get fixed on his toys n shirts n shit and are like.... "ugh" and move on.
Still need to get some zip ties for the couple of wires hanging down and get rid of that shitty old Dell tower, but it's finally getting where I want it.
What's the consensus on buying used audio equipment like speakers and amps?
Sounds stupid I know, but I've been thinking for ways to upgrade the sound department here for cheap but would quite like speakers and an amp.
Was just looking around on eBay etc and it seems like this stuff really depreciates so I thought it could be a good way to upgrade on the cheap.
Note the current ipod speaker: >>46779895
next week I'll convert to the standing desk
Depends on the type of equipment, in my opinion. I probably wouldn't buy second hand speakers without being able to try them out, since it's easy for the cone to rip. Amp is probably fine. Second hand from a local place like Craigslist would be a little bit safer, because at least you can see it before you buy it.
Housesitting for my parents
stole a screen and gaymen peripherals from my brother
Under the desk there's a 900D, and an HP NAS
Excuse the shitty lighting, fucking Note 3 camera goes all out of whack over the screens
Here is mine. Just ordered a Quickfire rapid. My RT9443 to the side. Also I've not found a mouse that has enough buttons that is better than the naga. no h8 pls
Just finished setting everything up. I still need a desk lamp though.
Just finished rearranging my desk now its a steel framed monster!
Also just finished modifying my speakers they are ow fully active biamped with a DEQX unit as a DSP and Crossover.
Haha no I don't use the side ones at all. I only plugged them in to take the picture. I do use the landscape monitor on top when I need the extra width though. It's also great for playing video while working on other things.
I dont know what that case is but peel off the fucking baby plastic!
I reckon with just the base frame in pink your an instant..... (blue mic record player but not a disk in sight xbox one...)
I reckon you might be able to pull off a generous 4/10
Its a new pic coz it says waluigi on the end.
The case is red but my camera isn't very good. I bought it a long time ago and don't want to spend the money for a new one. I buy all my xbone games digitally and my records are on a shelf on the other side of the room. I agree that the case is ugly and made of shitty glossy plastic but it's big enough to fit all my parts and it would cost me at least $150 to get another one.
Stop trying to play victim your fooling no one
And my room is finished. New station.
>Never posted on 4chan before
>Nervous as fuck about all posters and impressing /g/ for no reason
them U2515H meng, my 3th will arrive on monday with a triple monitor mount, hyped.
I've got some higher quality speakers. I'm looking at a way to maybe fit the bookshelves on my desk, but, probably won't be able to unless they're on their side. And I'd need to find a place for my PC, then... And my monitors would be higher than I prefer.
Speaking of audio, just got this today.
