Transmission is so barebones you might as well use default rtorrent

Does rtorrent use ncurses?

I'd actually use rtorrent full time if it didn't completely fail to connect to ANY peer or seed when I load my ipfilter list, which for some reason works just fine in qbitorrent.

Haha rtorrent hasn't been updated in over 4 months, it's dead software, depracated.

Where did I imply I purchased utorrent pro?
>>
Uh, guys.
rtorrent doesn't use the regular libtorrent(rasterbar) library, it uses its own libtorrent(rakshasa) port that's somewhat outdated and lacking features compared to libtorrent-rasterbar.

Point is we need a new rtorrent using a sane library like qbitt/deluge/transmission do.
>>
Shame this thread is shit, but i have a quuestion:

Is it just me, or does qbittorrent seem to download/upload slower than utorrent 2.2.1?
>>
>>46703862
No, but it also depends on your settings, port, filters, DHT, UPnP/NAT forwarding, PeX, LPD, encryption level, upload rate.
Of course someone might just block all connections to qBit and allow uTorrent or vice-versa but that seems unlikely.
>>

At least qBittorrent gets updates.
Last time i ran that piece of shit Deluge, i had to wait 1.5 years for an update so the download window bug could be fixed, and also the shitty peer connection bug.
Sadly the UI bugs are all part of the core UI code which is in the priority section of bug fixes labeled as needing to be redone, for over 2 fucking years now.
Never using Deluge again.

Meanwhile still lacks basic features other clients have had for the past 5 years, I wish they'd implement a plugin system like deluge so we can add our own features without having to rewrite half the the fucking program.

Vuze is probably the most developed/feature rich clients available, hundreds of updates get pushed out on the dev channel every month. Suppose that's what you get when you have a paid team of developers.
