I had the opportunity to buy a Steelcase very similar to that for a ridiculously cheap price, but unfortunately had to leave it for someone else to buy because I don't have anywhere to put something like that.

I don't think I could use one as a computer desk, though. Too high for me and the center drawer would kind of get in the way.

I actually bought one of the Steelseries mousepads and it seems really smooth. I just haven't bothered to take a new battlestation photo because that's the only thing I've changed.

My MX310 has been a very faithful mouse (I've had it over a decade), but I will definitely look into getting something newer if I ever actually start using my desk setup again for any significant length of time.

Not too far from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Craigslist is basically worthless for anything I'm interested in within a 50 mile radius. Thrift stores are popular and occasionally have some good stuff, but they stopped getting in CRT monitors for the most part about six years ago. Back then the best I could find were 17" Trinitrons, which I regret not buying, but I thought I could find at least a decent 19". Since then I've only seen a few budget-tier junk CRT monitors, and one decent Diamondtron, but it was bundled with an old Dell computer for $50 and really not large enough or high res+refresh enough for me to replace my NEC with it.

eBay is not an option for CRT monitors for me. So many potential problems, and I can't afford to lose the shipping money.

I mentioned in my previous posts that thrift stores basically went bust for CRT monitors six years ago, and even before that I couldn't find anything but 17" Trinitrons at best. I'm a huge thrift store hunter and have been visiting them several times a week since 2008. I've also hunted many flea markets and antique stores.

As far as I can find there are no "business liquidation places" anywhere near where I live.

I like to keep my electronics workstation separate from my internet machine, though. Everything gets greasy and dirty around flux, and resistor leads end up everywhere, and occasionally my solder sucker likes to spray a million crumbs of monkey metal upon release and it's not conducive to a pleasant posting environment.
