It's a few TB. I don't have all the old versions of everything, just some. Like FF all the way back to version 10, IE back to IE5, Ubuntu back to 4.04 or some shit like that, and all of the other major distros back at least ten years. I have Windows going back to 3.1, and assorted software for them all. I even have an original floppy set of Win95 in the box.

It's mostly anime and blu-ray disc rips. When each movie is 30-45 gigs a pop it fills up fast. I only have about 1.7 terabytes of storage total though.

I like to burn them to blu ray discs and have all the special features intact. I also like the superior picture quality. It's worth the space for me.

I for one hoard data that isn't porn.
I have an extensive music collection, with albums that I listen to sometimes and store because they're difficult to re-download.
I also have my anime backlog downloaded and ready for viewing, together with my favourite shows that I might re-watch.
Lastly, there's about 40,000 images that I collected over the years. None of them are pornographic either.

I used to hoard images, videos and website rips but I think I realized that it was sort of pointless. No one was ever going to ask me to repost any of it and I didn't use it either. Then I switched to using a 256GB SSD and from then on I didn't have the space to hoard.

I barely download songs, movies and series anymore too. Grooveshark and Popcorntime do their jobs fine for me.

1.5 TB External Samsung - random data with no backup
500 WD Blue - scratch drive, could die any day now

I don't trust RAID controllers, so I manually add things to my backup drive. Considering one of those 6 TB seagate drives to use as a backup, which would double my data storage capabilities, but I don't trust seagate. I should really just get a NAS setup.

I don't really. I haven't even filled up half of my 1TB external and I have all the movies, books, OS images, software archives, porn, shows, and misc shit that I desire.

Back before hard-drives broke 100 gigabytes, I was a data hoarder, when my 80 GB (that was huge at the time) died did I start to question why I was holding on to all this junk? Today I have about 4 TB spread over about five drives and about 500 or so CDs, DVDs, and yes even a handful of 3.5 floppies.
