Meh, pretty much all up to date valuable tor users stopped using it a few months ago when a new vulnerability got found and the FBI funnily enough were dumb enough to publicly claim responsibility for it.

Tor is pretty much dead at this point. It started dying when skiddies from /g/ started to torrent and upload via tor. Then it got viral thanks to journalists, introduced web crawlers which slowed the network down and forced people to stop using tor.

I don't see why FBI keeps shilling about CP and drugs on these threads, they probably think the network is still valued.

tor project in trouble again!?!?

the sky is falling for these fuckers every week
>>

Tor is already a botnet.
>>
So what will take TORs place?

lol, it was pretty obvious the Sony thing was going to be used for something like this plus to introduce new censorship and anti-piracy laws. The hackers I dont know if they are from NSA or not, but the thing of uploading videos to youtube laughing at FBI and all that is really CIA common tactics.

So is Tails going to be useless now?
>>
>>45723843
Tails uses Tor and I2P...

I2P seems empty.. can you suggest some high activity services?
>>
It's a goddamn pity Tor is under heavy attack lately. For good opsec practice it should never be your main/only line of defense, however hidden services provided a nice way to interact with professional communities.
i2p is better in many fronts but still isn't used properly by a lot of hosts.
The internet is becoming a (LEA) controlled environment more and more, and that's a fucking shame.

Yes, Tor is the only big anonymizing network with a good ammount of users, all the others are very small: I2P, Freenet, Hyperboria... And yes, they have really profesional communities, other profesional community is IRC, I dont know how is Usenet now
>>
>>45721894
This is now an I2P thread

I love how BTDigg has an I2P site, it's my one-stop place for clearnet torrents now

>>45724364
Torrenting on I2P is good? Nice speeds?

The video you're referring to is a random one uploaded by someone in Japan back in 2006.

It was simply linked to them, likely as mockery or a joke.

Daily reminder that Tor relies in centralized servers to work (so it can be shut down by gov when they please), they don't disable JavaScript by default (putting regular users in risk of day zero browser exploits), and don't make users to be nodes by default (making the number of node small and controllable). They are also funded by gov (such a coincidence).

Daily reminder that traffic correlation attacks work with very high accuracy rate and that are a piece of cake to a global adversary, and if they want to get you they will get you.

Daily reminder that Tor is Kill!

Forum sliding is strong. 4chan is dead.

I2P is the next tor. Hope this time they do it right.

Seriously, what legit uses does Tor have?
>>
>>45727122
Everyone is a legit user, no one should know what do you do on your private life, so every Tor user is a legit user.

I can't into I2P, no sites will load and I'm not sure why or how to fix.
