Let's talk printers! I'm looking for a good laser printer for reasonable price. So far I found pic related for like $165 and it has a really good running cost. I really like the scanner and the document feeder for that (A separate scanner with a document feeder start from twice as much. Seriously, wtf?). It supposedly has good linux support too but I don't know about the scanner. Sane project says that ADF is buggy, I don't really know what they mean http://www.sane-project.org/cgi-bin/driver.pl?manu=canon&model=sensys&bus=any&v=&p=
A would hook it up to my home server which runs Debian.
Thoughts? Also printers general.

Did my resarch, could buy $11 refills for the 2.1k page cartridge. Even if they are jews and fill for half capacity it's still pretty damn cheap.

Fair enough, I got seriously jewed by buying a Canon inkjet once and there were no compatible carts (yes, I checked everywhere at the time).

>inkjets
I know they have their place but I want to avoid them for a while

Have you checked out inkjets + ciss system against lasers for cost?

No, any recommendation?

Oh, I see. You mod an existing printer with a ciss system? Never heard about it, really interesting.
