FOSS software design has always been and always will be shit, elementary OS trying to make difference but they just try to copy macos which makes it more pathetic...
This looks better than any Windows UI design I've ever seen.
Before looking good, a UI has to be intuitive and allow you to work efficiently. I don't need a goddamn 2D/3D transition every time I click a button.
That being said, I enjoy it when well done, like MS Office 2013.
>>align all the boxes.
>>look neater but sacrifice usability
the fuck are you talking about!? Aligning the boxes would do jackshit to usability.
This is what OSX' menus look like - look me in the eyes and tell me that's bad in ANY way.
>selection drop down menu 2x the size it needs to be
>window navigation buttons ... I mean seriously ... fuking seriously ... I know that OSX is for mentally disable .. but seriously this is fucked up.
> insane amount of wasted and badly used space
>some of the input boxes are completely gone instead of being blanked out (lazy as tits)
>search bar for what ?
>those window bezels ..
>using the same exact font for everything
>what are colours
>calling internet connection in all form "Wi-Fi" ... even my mum doesn't do that
... this shit is design 101 ... how the hell did this get trough alpha testing
