>not having a phone with at least 500ppi
what's you're excuse /g/ ?
well, the 565 ppi on the droid turbo is pretty good. but the screen quality is meh.
like other's have said, not much point when you don't read moon and don't want shit battery life.
You don't look at you're screen with a magnifying glass, do you?
~500 PPI is the sweet spot for phones in my opinion.
Slightly less for monitors and TVs as you sit further away from them but still way more than that 100-150 PPI AIDS we have today.
Old people are too stupid to know the difference.
Most young people have moved over to tablets which have only been increasing in ppi as of late.
What type of display are the newer Samsung phones using?
My professor had a Samsung phone for use with the Google Cardboard, but I can't remember what phone he had.
There was absolutely zero screen door. The gap between each subpixel was nonexistent, and the subpixels were rectangular/box shaped.
What display was it?
If you look at this far enough away that each set of characters takes up the same horizontal space in your field of vision as something 15mm wide at the same distance you use your phone at, the bottom one is the clearest.
