>Slide to unclock
every damn time
This is my wireless bluetooth speaker. $10 bucks. has built in bluetooth, mic for calls, microsd slot for playing music off memory cards, lasts hours, sounds surprisingly good, has a built in FM tuner and aux input.
Mah nigga, I fucking love this thing.
That fucking guy talking about, "Functionally from a hardware engineering perspective.... lets passively cool this steel box and stick it in a plastic shell with no ventilation," pissed me off.
It works great and if you google it then itll show you that it charges just as fast as any other wireless charger. It outputs only 1a max though
Heres my 4-port charger. Ifs a shitty knockoff, but it charges well. 1A and 2.1A outputs(no idea which is which)
>Working on project with Chinese exchange students
>They make block diagram
>Misspell temperature as "temeperatore"
>Bring this up and tell them it's wrong
>"Well my Chinese to English dictionary say it's right"
I literally had no face. I didn't even say anything.
>friend of a friend is hk exchange student
>asks me to help him with his assignment mainly punctuation and grammar.
>broken english everywhere
>using Chinese symbols for numbered bullet points
>show him how to clean everything up
>he treats me to dinner and introduces me to his family after he got 94% for that assignment
>Designed by California
>"Which one is the real one?"
Im loving it so far
It wouldn't surprise if that was on the genuine boxes, Beats are shit. The knockoffs probably sound better.
I have a knockoff Wii called the Mee if anyone wants me to dump some pics?
Well, they did a really shitty job at it
pic related, also see: http://www.righto.com/2012/10/a-dozen-usb-chargers-in-lab-apple-is.html
The dump begins.
The games aren't on disc, they're cartridges. I have no idea if more exist beyond what comes in the box.
>That soccer ball controller
I had a PnP baseball game as a kid with bat and ball controllers that you would do a quick jerk with to get them to respond. It worked well enough, until the family drunk accidentally threw the ball while playing and hit the radiator, breaking it.
I feel badly posting this because it's actually a pretty fucking decent camera. But that brand logo...they're starting to rip off of each other now.
I doubt the ball even works. I was surprised the wireless controllers work though, I honestly expected them to be wired or something.
This shit right here, a midi-to-USB interface, $2 on ebay.
none of the cables are actually wired, the USB chip is just a rom with device ID.
I work phone retail and I had a customer bring in a fake GS5. He was nice enough to let me take some photos of it.
It's hard to tell from the picture. But the sticker in the phone has some flaws. The battery is an actual samsung one for the GS5.
The major flaws are the back, the stuff isn't the right material, which you can kinda see. Along with the 'Galaxy S5' shouldn't have any dots around it.
The camera is off as well. And the water proofing ring thing is like a sliver.
The Quality Control sticker along the bottom is the giveaway - Samsung doesn't use that kind of shit in their devices, all the pertinent info is on the white labels.
Pretty funny how much business those KIRF devices actually do, even here in the US. I see them on craigslist constantly, in pawn shops, even in phone stores all over the place.
Seems even the "pros" can't tell the difference sometimes, geez.
Oh the moment I saw the thing I was suspect. The moment I held it I know.
The back felt completely wrong. And the metal around the outside felt like that tin stuff they use on cheap toys
heh, i actually got this shit for free. logos went erased after a needed cleanup, at least, it plays mp3s and CDs, so it's just the strict minimal combined with an amp.
I'm kinda sad, no-one's made an updated version of this.
If there where $150 1080p chinkphones at the start of last year surely they'd be cheaper now, or there'd be some sub-$200 1440p phones.
Friend of mine went to China as tourist and while there he figured out why not buy something cheap and resell for profit at home.
So he bought 100 pcs Sandisk 64Gb microsd cards.
Every single one was fake, 4gb real capacity.
Why do these still exist? All of them belong in thrift stores. Fucking optical media. Also, my laptop can play videos just fine. Don't mean to sound edgy or anything, but lels, DVD players are retarded.
>Girlfirend got one of those with her chinktablet from aliexpress
>Plugged into wall socket, charging fine
>Move to unplug to make room for my laptop
>BAZINGA 800 MWATTS OF CHINK RIPOFF ELECTRICITY BLASTS ME IN THE ARM
>Chinktablet went on the local equivalent of Craigslist in 15 minutes
Chink adapters/chargers/converters NEVER AGAIN
>800 MWATTS OF CHINK RIPOFF ELECTRICITY
As hilarious as this phrase is, how the fuck do you know how much power was dissipated in your body when you got shocked?
Yup, there is some SD card mafia doing this on a huge scale.
If you order SD cards online, check them by either writing and then verifying a suitably big torrent, or by using h2testw (Windows) / f3 (Linux) or something like that!
That said, stores proper like dealextreme usually ship genuine goods, it's typically ebay / aliexpress / ... with sellers that sell fakes - and they may not even know.
I can confirm that that works for detecting this sort of shit.
bought a 128 gig micro sd card off of ebay for $30 because I thought it was too good to be true. it was.
sent that fucker back and got a refund.
I took apart an old chink AC adapter a while ago.
The two wires connecting the hot and neutral ac leads to the PCB were crossed, and the rubber insul was scratched on the hot wire right at the intersection.
It's in the trash now.
Got this through at the Genius Bar, the FRS who took the appointment was wondering why it performed like shit.
Wasn't until he opened it that he found out it was a cheap Chinese knockoff Android phone, with a reskinned interface that looked exactly like iOS 7. It even has the fucking Assistive Touch widget on the screen.
I saw a similar phone a couple years earlier, an iPhone 4 that took a full size sim, and had customised icons but still with an iOS-looking interface.
They removed that one, but most likely other clones work with adruino software too.
Man even the NES knockoffs are shit nowadays.
Look at his baby here. A NES knockoff from the 90s. At least they bothered to make the case and controllers better.
Just browse websites like pandawill or antelife. Would advise against it though.
A few things to take into consideration:
Those chink cpu's (mediatek) are riddled with problems.
There will be no updates or support, despite what is promised. Also little to none community support.
If there is a problem with your phone (and there probably will be at some point) good luck, their warranty is bullshit.
Honestly people don't realize when you buy a chinkphone there are so many headaches and additional costs attached it's really not worth the cheap price.
inb4 some faggots jumps in saying his chinkphone works fine, desperately defending his shit purchase.
>Hiddens menu is secret. Find by clever.
The funny part is that HDD shows up at a 1TB drive in windows. Its only actually a 1gb usb stick, but it works by erasing old data and putting new on it continiously to fool the user if the files are smaller than a gig.
>Chinese google says it's correct
If I were a wedding photographer and this happened to me I would say "better luck next time" to the newly weds.
You know chances are they'll have another wedding in their lifetimes.
Here's some OC, I saw this in Damascus a few years back.
may as well keep going. this one was from Beijing. it's beautiful.
Again DIY guy did that, he didnt have the black electrolytics in stock, so used modern tantalums in place and adjusted accordingly
He wanted the look and feel of the old ones but something that worked
