why are earbuds pretty much GONE from the market?
what's the driving force behind this shit?

I fucking hate in-ear shit plugs.

earbuds were perfect for on the go because you still knew what is happening around you without insulating you from your surroundings.

now you have the choice of looking like a tool with real headphones on or stuffing pig disgusting in-ears in your auditory canal.

the sony ones were the best back then.
I don't give a fuck that the sound quality was not that good. they were perfect for people who just want to have some music in the background of their daily life.

Four years ago I bought like 5 sony earbuds (black ones that fit in those circular case rolling thingies) and lasted forever. A couple of months ago I broke my last pair and went to buy new ones. Turns out not they are an endangered species now. I found some sennheiser ones, tested them for a month, went back and bough 5 more (each like 16 euros).
