hey /g/
I plan on making a 4X4 inch RasPi UMPC. Where can i find a keyboard that small? Also the problem is mouse. I want to make it as small as possible with no moving parts (eg external mouse). What can i do about it? It will be mostly a port scanner/packet sniffer/vulnerability finder.
I want to make it look something like this.

And i want it to run debian, or some other minimal distro. Can i compile something like tiny core for it?

They make tiny wireless mouse keyboard combos. I'm sure if you're comfortable with this level of hobbyist electronics you could maybe fashion a wired version out of it.

If you're using an ARM SBC to run an actual desktop system, like KDE, then RasPi is probably a bad option.

Get a BeagleBone Black for like $20 more.

I own a raspi right now.
Also as far as i know, beaglebone is low on support
>>
>>44071521
Support for what though?
>port scanner
So you need ethernet or a usb wifi radio
>keyboard
>mouse
>>
>>44071547
No support as in a community that can provide help when struck. RasPi jas a huge community

>>44071137
You know Kali linux has kali ARM which supports the rasp pi? Im doing a similar project

If you're building a UMPC for hacking shit you shouldn't need babby forums. beaglebone is well documented and their community is more . rtfm m8

Good luck finding a keyboard for it that doesn't suck.
>>
>>44071137

got any links for your pic op?
>>
>>44072164
Just google "raspi umpc"
>>
>>44071180
Look into yocto/opemembedded you can compile a Linux system from scratch with the customizations you need
>>
>>44071137
And if you know how to program you can just make a qt framework program to be ur interface no desktop environment needed
>>
>>44071789
This would be a lot easier with a clit mouse, actually that'd be amazing, like a mini keyboard like this with a trackpoint so smaller and easier to use.
>>
>>44071137
what are touch screens
>>
You make your own.
