I am keeping my Hackintosh on 10.9.4 till its in its final build.

I like it. Looks nice (to me), and is fast. There are some bugs, but that's the point of beta, so I'm reporting them. My main issue is that my school uses Cisco NAC Agent to regulate computers that connect to their resident network, and it doesn't like Yosemite. So internet is hard, but that's Cisco's issue.

I am liking it so far. Installed it over top of Mavericks on my primary machine and haven't had any issues yet (only had it for 1 day). I don't use many applications though so the risk of an error is likely lower. I like the new flat design, but then I liked ios7 as well.

Linux is more customizable and comes with developer tools out of the box. Gotta download the developer tools for OS X, which are still much better than on Windows.

Macs take more work to get different window managers and desktop environments working, but you can certainly still make it happen.

Just depends on what you want, really. I like the software of OS X more than on Linux by a landslide, and having native Netflix support is great.

I updated my Hackintosh yesterday and I have everything working as it was before except the few apps that broke. The only noticeable bug I've encountered is that my secondary display is now mirrored until I log in. Photo Booth also works now when it didn't before (not like I'll ever use it)
I'm enjoying the new UI and think it looks fresh as hell. The new features are nice when I notice them. I'm excited to see how it looks when it's finished.
