Why are PCI-E x4 and x8 graphics cards so rare? More bandwidth makes little to no sense even on top-tier cards.
RX480/GTX1060-tier cards would run just fine even on x4 and possibly be shorter for next level ITX memes.

If the GPS is turned ON the phone regularly sends location updates to google, this can be verified even without any data monitoring.

If I turn it "off" from the software switch, does it actually stop? Or does it just prevent the apps from getting it while still sending information to Google? Has anyone actually looked at the data sent outwards using external tools to verify this either way?

I found a floppy disk labeled "nothing" with some of my step-dad's stuff. I put in an external floppy drive I found, and it has 1 file on it. It's a font file named "desperit" (Yes spelled like that). Wtf? Any clue what may be going on, random strangers?

If we assume that Cinebench is AMD's best workload and Intel will be faster by 10% on average in others, the 18 core i9-7980XE will be on average 22.5% faster in most workloads. 16 core i9-7960X will be 16% faster on average. 14 core i9-7940X will be 8% faster on average.

i9-7940X seems like the best if you want to meet or beat the 1950X for "only" $400 more. The 16 and 18 cores will probably run far too hot to even consider anyway, and they are only marginally faster than the 14 core. (8%/16% faster)
