I think their computer are well made, looks good, comfy, work, good re-sell value. OSX is good, not better or worst. I hate most of their softwares though. Itunes enrages me every time I use it. Also sometimes you cant do shit unless you upgrade/patch then it's slower.

OH MY FUCKING GOD
For the past 3 years, since I built my computer, it's been making a hissing/buzzing noise out of either the headphones or speakers, whichever were plugged in. I noticed this and asked my dad why this was happening (he's a videographer/musician/amatuer sound engineer) and he just told me "speakers just do that sometimes" I thought it was because my soundcard or my motherboard was causing it or something, I didn't think it was fixable.
Well today I finally fixed it. I have a dual monitor setup, where I can switch my 2nd screen to HDMI for playing on my Wii-U, and the audio goes through my computer and out of my computer speakers. Well it turns out that having the audio jack connected through the 2nd monitor to the computer's line-in input (I think that's what it was) all the time is a horrible thing to do, as this was what was causing the non-stop hiss.
If I want to play on my Wii-U I just need to plug the jack into the back of the computer. I still get hissing this way, but it's way nicer to only have it on the Wii-U anyways, and if I really want to avoid it I can just plug my headphones into the gamepad.
I'M SO FUCKING HAPPY, EVERYTHING ON MY COMPUTER SOUNDS GLORIOUS NOW.
Has anyone here felt pure elation when fixing something like this?

Practiacally impossible, unless you get some ultra-low power hardware.
Get a passive watercooling radiator, and watercool pretty much everything in your computer.
Get a fanless PSU.
Remove all HDDs and get only SSDs.
You'll pretty much only have the noise of the water pump, but those are typically incredibly quiet.
However, with passive watercooling, your cooling performance isn't going to be super great, you'll have this big-ass radiator outside of your case, and it'll be expensive as fuck.

Why would someone encrypt their drives when they can just physically hide their data? What is wrong from hiding your HDDs in a secure location where no sane human would look? I'm truly wondering, I don't have any data important enough to bother doing something like this, but time and time again people get their encryption keys beaten out of them, but that's of no use if they can't find the drives...

I know when I got a netbook years ago, it had a dumbed down versiono f windows 7 witha bunch of functions removed.
I COULDN'T EVEN CHANGE THE BACKGROUND. I had to install a third party fix because I didn't want to put a pirate copy of windows on my brand new netbook for fear of driver compatibility issues.
