Why is it that IT guys in every place I've worked for have all been useless, self-entitled, lazy pieces of shit? Is that a skill they teach students in network-oriented CS courses?

It is called being a professional.
I work in a bank.
Someone thought it was a good idea to ship half of out back office to pajeets and half to Mexico.
I almost lost a huge transaction for a client because a Mexican piece of shit fucked up their job by being lazy and not confirming the fix was in place. I got him fired.

I want to write hello world with some friends. How do I use this with visual studios? thanks
go to github.com, open terminal and type echo "please open visual studios and make a hello world", then wait exactly 1 minute. After that you will git going. Dohohoho.
not working, I've been waiting 3 minutes
>>54936401
Don't post your terminal directory! The CIA can track you!!
what possible reason do you have to own one of these when pc games are limited to ps4 / xbox one levels?
a shitton of antialiasing
>>54936281
>when pc games are limited to ps4 / xbox one levels?
No they're not. While the piss 4 is limited to 30FPS, 900p resolution and medium-ish pc graphics settings, I can easily reach 60FPS+ at 1440p on maximum graphics settings on my R9 390X GPU.
However I don't see why anyone would be stupid enough to get the 1080, it's fermi 2.0 and has hardware async.
My GPU is nearly 5 years old now, it can't play Dark Souls 3 very well.
Is using the same password everywhere really as dangerous as everyone says it is? I have a shitload of accounts all over the internet; so many that I don't actually remember them all. I lost track. I'm afraid that if one of them gets compromised, I'm completely fucked. There's no way I can remember unique passwords for each different account.
What are some good password management methods?

>Is using the same password everywhere really as dangerous as everyone says it is?
Yes.
>I'm afraid that if one of them gets compromised, I'm completely fucked.
that's exactly why.
>What are some good password management methods?
use a password manager. There's a bunch to choose from, local and cloud-based. They can all generate strong random passwords that you need not remember. All you have to remember is one password (the one for the manager)
>>54936273
Thanks.
Find one intro for your passwords and then use memorable second halves.
For instances
My passes
Followed by a delimiter followed by a unique password.

Also, get a very small notebook. Back pocket small. Write your passwords in it. One hard copy. Dont lose it. Much more secure than you think unless you live in a very bad pickpocket city.
Not even anime can escape Windows 10.

What do I use github looks like cancer
bitbucket
you also get private repos for free
>>54936194
Just use regular git then. If you don't want to use any central server and you don't know how to set up your own, even though git does 90% of that for you, just email git patches back and forth. Doing that is discussed in the git tutorial even, iirc.
gitlab is nice

Chrome since 2008 on everything, and Safari on my rMBP cuz it doesn't rape my battery.
Firefox is nice too, but I have no reason to use it.
>>54935828
chromium
>>54935834
I used to use Chrome. I just like Sleipnir's design and the text rendering. It's based off of Chromium.
