What're you wokring on?
You seem a competent programmer
>>54973158
Not terribly. It covers a lot of commits over the past two years from me and another guy on the team.
So /g/, how good would you say Swift is. Getting iMac in 2 days, wanted to know is it worth spending my time?
>>54973027
She's nice. :)
>>54973027
its excellent. not sure i'd recommend it as your very first language tho. bit funky.

Poo in the fucking loo Rajeesh.
I know /g/ isn't a tech support team, but I've searched all over google and I've found absolutely nothing.
A few weeks ago my ISP gave me an in-browser message and sent me an email about one of the computers on my network being suspected for having the Zeus Trojan. I did everything to ensure it wasn't my computer, and I believed it was my girlfriends. Thing is, I have two different modems, and our computers work off separate modems altogether. Earlier my graphics driver gave me a message saying my graphics driver crashed and had to be restarted. Alright, fuck, it restarted itself and I looked on google for answers. Nothing.
Later this evening I found out my girlfriend received the same error message on her computer. I use Nvidia and I don't know what the fuck she uses. I highly doubt this is coincidental, but considering we work on two separate modems I can't fathom the possibility of cross-contamination.
I also have Norton Antivirus, if that helps with anything.
Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.
This has to be bait
>>54973013
Please, I'm computer retarded and so is any A+ only certified geeksquad fuckup.
Is there any program that can search usb-connected devices, such as phones or whatever for password files?
i know of Gmail Hacker Pro, just finds all the password files you have on your computer, but it wont work for what i want
>>54972876
I would not tell you if I knew.
>>54972876
And what do you want?
>>54972984
i have an old ipod that has a bunch of old accounts on there like icloud and myspace but the screen is busted so i need to pull the passwords somehow. ive tried using provided retrieval methods but i never thought id need to know my security questions so theyre all bullshit
Can someone recommend a decent terminal? I've realized gnome is trash after spending 5 minutes programming with ncurses
/g/ might yell at you if you don't call them terminal emulators

Into the trash
Hey /g/ is this app as secure as they say?
if it wasn't, I'd be in jail a long time ago
>>54972959
Thanks.
>>54972842
Can't help you much there, I haven't reviewed it. They purport to try at least. It's probably better than Telegram, probably not quite as good as WhatsApp or Signal - but that's pre-review, you understand.
People who have a FHD or better laptop, what can you do that you couldn't do when you used a lower res laptop?
I tend to get fewer headaches following long periods of use, regardless of brightness or color temperature settings. That could be placebo.
Render fonts properly.
And I don't mean that in any kind of autistic font snob sense. I mean you will not feel the need to use bitmap fonts anymore because the DPI is high enough for proper vector fonts.
>>54972642
OP here, this sounds splendid. What would I google here to get me set up?
Am I the only one who feels that Maxwell's aftermarket coolers had a much better look to them.
Like honestly Pascal aftermarket coolers look so gaymer like. What happened to the professional ish aesthetic on things like EVGA cards
>>54972523
All open-air coolers look gay to me. The only ones that I thought looked halfway decent were the XFX and Lightning models of Nvidia's cards.
But none of them look as good as reference AMD. I can't put my finger on what this design really reminds me of. It's something like older, more rugged and industrial design.
>>54972982
I'm actually planning on getting an RX 480 or 2 as long as I can get the reference model. I just like the way they look.
>>54972982
>not posting the best designed AMD card
It is time to produce an idol by writing code.
Are you ready /g/?

Last time I did this, I was severely underwhelmed by the difficulty of the challenges.
The hardest one I've gotten from a POH hackathon was literally
>here is a game state for a tetris-like game
>advance gamestate by one frame
>qsort the board vertically
>YOU PASS!!!
>here's some plot nobody gives a shit about
Do they make it easy so even the stupidest otaku won't get discouraged?
Count me in.

How did this OS even get popular?
>install Lincucks
>there is no software to install
I can see why it never became popular :^)
>>54972111
Linux is so unpopular no one bothers to develop malware for it
>>54972111

What do you guys think of ReactOS?
>>54971930
I try not to think about it.
What is it?
>>54971930
too soon
Hey, /g/ - what's a good antivirus to use?
I'm currently utilizing Kaspersky.

Just found these two old phones i used when in high school. There doesn't seem to be a wifi option to connect to, is this a case or am i missing something.
Here are the only 5 options in settings and no wifi anuwhere.
Has it ever occurred to you that they may not support Wi-Fi?
