Indians are poor. They go straight for the enterprise shit which could land them some easy cash.

So tomorrow I have an interview and they told me that I am required to draw out "What a typical IT network would look like in a small business".
I have barely any idea as to what this means but I want to do well in this interview, any advice is appreciated.

So is OpenSUSE Leap stable yet? Last time I tried it was unpolished, buggy and crashy. Far from the "enterprise-grade" SLES it was derived from.
And is Tumbleweed's stability a meme? Is it actually usable for someone who just wants shit to work?

>>And is Tumbleweed's stability a meme? Is it actually usable for someone who just wants shit to work?
No
>>55047024
So, is it stable or unstable? You're being unclear, Anon.
>>55047014
I have found Leap to be pretty darn stable. Tumbleweed is not, and is a complete joke.
I'm buying 2. It's over anons.

Heya guys!
I need a mature/sane linux distro that works out of the box and is actively developed by a strong core of devs.
Any rising stars out there or distro's worth looking into? I have some understanding in *NIX based systems but am kinda out of the loop on developments and hype.
In return for solid advice, I can perhaps share experience or answer questions related to infosecurity. I am professionally engaged in the pentest field.
>>55046920
Fedora.
I don't know how Red Hat or the developers do it, but Fedora has always been a stupidly stable and shiny distro for me, despite aiming to be relatively bleeding-edge.
It's shiny and it works. And it's all I can ask from a distro.
>>55046920
Xubuntu
Fedora or debian. It just depends on which you prefer.
Bluetooth speakers?
Not sure if this is the right section but I'm in need of a bluetooth speaker for car use. I have an older American classic and a VW Fox without the optional radio. Don't want to waste money installing radios with bluetooth or USB connectivity so a speaker should be fine.
What's the one with the best sound quality?
>>55046815
if you buy any shitbox bose speakers you will have paid more than what it costs for a car stereo with usb/bluetooth, faggot
Ion tailgater, big ass speaker for 140ish bucks, sounds great, i have 2
>>55046815
I have that speaker, mint for inside but no hope in a car im afraid

This is the worst kind of marketing I have ever seen in my life. In no way is this indicative of a what a GPU does or why they are useful. It's just robots shooting paintballs.
Should have had the big robot have 1000 guns and have it do what the first robot did if they wanted to actually demonstrate anything.
I prefer nVidia but jesus fuck this demonstration is a catastrophe.
GPUs aren't used only for videogames, Nvidia specially has been focusin on servers and workstations since Fermi, all the Geforce cards used for video games are just the scraps that don't make the cut to be professional cards.
>>55046789
>GPUs aren't used only for videogames
I know that. I'm saying this demonstration doesn't even need a GPU to function. A CPU could have just the fire instruction to the 1000 guns and it would have worked basically the same with a slightly (milliseconds) higher time.
This isn't a good example of parallel processing.
>>55046818
You just don't understand.
Sry i derped
Yes. Even if you download software with an air gap, you are still susceptible to exploits in Win2k that haven't been patched.
Are unsavoury individuals still targeting ancient operating systems? Doesn't age eventually make safe in a sense?

Your fault for not being smart enough to research this beforehand and install GWX Control Panel.
>>55046770
It's not anyone's fault windows started forcing entirely new operating systems on people's with effectively no warning.
This is pretty insane.
Are fans with built in temperature controllers a good idea if i don’t want to use a splitter, or some bulky and expensive controller?
Sounds like a good way to cool the gpu and hdd.
>>55046564
>a splitter, or some bulky and expensive controller?
what the fuck desktop motherboard doesn't have a fan controller built in
>>55047432
Most motherboards have a limited amount of fan connectors.

Why do you bully web devs? ;_;
>>55046352
Neets are mad that their magic C and fizz buzz will not let the leave basement and live on their own, while people with JS are making real money
>>55046445
>JS gives higher salaries
>So does prostitution
The thing is: you're not bullied, it's just that all these languages make it very easy to prototype stuff fast, which is great and all, the problem is when this kind of thing tries to make way into final products, it just makes it bloated as hell. Just like using an Arduino for a prototype, but never put it on a final product. You just don't control everything that is under the hood.
>>55046352
Coz I am stuck in a large corporation with no future, getting 20k less than a webdev without cs degree in some san fran basement in a startup.
Other than that, the majority are bad at programming.
